So...a review of the week that was in March Madness
BEST GAME: Davidson vs. Kansas. Does it get any better than is? Amazing.
WORST GAME: The Memphis games. Boooooring.
BEST PERFORMANCE: Stephen Curry vs. Wisconsin. Total domination!
GOOD CALL: N/A. I don't really give a damn about my disastrous bracket anymore.
BAD CALL: Texas in the Final Four...

On a side note...does anyone think Gus Johnson does amazing play-by-play? He gets so ridiculously hyper during games...including bizarre screeches during critical situations like in the UCLA-Gonzaga game a few years back. Gus Johnson has to be the Chip Caray of college hoops.

Wow. That kinda sucked...Davidson had a shot to pull off the upset of the sports year by shocking Kansas on the last possession. Curry had the ball, but couldn't get off a clean 3 and had to give it up to Richards. Who missed badly on a shot from waaaaay downtown. So for the first time EVER. All 1 seeds advance to the Final Four.
I like everyone else in America outside of Kansas was rooting for the Comeback Cats. Unfortunately...they came up juuust short. I hate to play Sunday Evening Point Guard here but Curry should've penetrated for the 2 after he saw that the 3 wasn't available. I know overtime could've gotten tricky with Lovedale fouled out but the Cats had the momentum on their side, and when the 3 isn't available, GO FOR 2. But Curry opted to stick with a possible 3 point attempt, and it backfired.
Don't get me wrong, I love how this kid plays. He takes chances, difficult shots. And he makes them. But sometimes, he puts up reckless shots in pressure situations, and we saw that in the final 3 minutes of the game tonight. Well...it was fun while it lasted, but Davidson couldn't pull off a George Mason tonight. And Kansas. For the first time ever...they don't choke!!!!!!!
5:30 PM
Stephen Curry. He's doing it again. I know it's early, but he's starting to rain down those 3s on the Jayhawks. So far, Davidson has a slim 17-16 lead. Stay tuned.
By the way, the Memphis game SUCKED. Texas didn't even stand a chance...
2:58 PM
Memphis is all over Texas early in this one, opening up a 16 point lead!!!! Looks like I misunderestimated the Tigers in this one. I thought their free throw shooting would screw them over. Looks like I was wrong. Memphis is playing with a chip on their shoulder and are threatening to run away with another game in Houston, after blowing out the Spartans on Friday.
